113/366 - how ironic? My Victoria’s Secret blanket WOULD be right behind me after today’s meeting being full of bs. Just thinking about it still pisses me off. The fact that some of these managers want to act oblivious to the way they treat certain associates differently over others irritates the hell out of me and it isn’t right. Then again, this IS the world of retail. And if you aren’t kissing someone’s ass/smelling it you won’t get far in the retail game or get the recognition you deserve, EVEN if you’re a hard worker. I shouldn’t be pressed by this but I am. It’s an injustice. For the most part I don’t care about what anyone thought about my actions today, because I don’t usually act like that. But after hearing one person’s thoughts about my actions had me second guessing myself. Now that I’m home and I’m away from the environment, I’m going to still stand by it. I’m sure I’ll get some kind of backlash for what happened earlier, but whatever. If I stepped on your toes with my remarks, then I was probably talking about you. And if that’s the case, I don’t care. That’s always been my attitude when it came to Victoria’s Secret, because most of management doesn’t give a damn about you anyway. Ok, enough with this rant. Cause I could surely blog about it rather than put my business on #instagram, when I know some of my coworkers follow this junk. Lol I probably put too much on here, but you know what? I don’t care. 110/366 - not only was today my first day off in 9 days, but it was a beautiful day in the Bay Area! Spent a lovely afternoon with a special someone, ate good food, did some gushy PDA on the beach (which I absolutely hate to do in public), did a little shopping, satisfied my sweet tooth, and now I’m home about to get on this batman again. 88/366 - today was an unnecessary long day. Work at 6a, a bottle of scented oil broke at the beginning of our shift and the entire back room smelled like this god awful fragrance that the store has and pretty much stayed with us until we left. I ended up with another migraine, DRAMA as usual, panties multiplying, dust balls all over the place, I ended up with a 4in cut on my right thigh in the process of straightening out the “cove”. So yeah… Despite the bs ass day at work (but making that money) I had a good evening with great company.
